My coaching sessions are not ‘done for you’ offers. They are designed to provide you with the knowledge, tools and confidence to take your small business to the next level with your online marketing.
They are aimed at small business owners who are ready and willing to adapt their mindset to learn and, use that knowledge, to take their businesses forward.
- A 30-minute discovery call to find out more about you and your business to make sure that we are a good fit.
- A questionnaire asking questions about your business, so that I can understand what you need and how I can help you overcome your challenges.
- Research before our session. I look at your website and social media to help me understand you, your brand and your business.
- There are several different packages. But, each coaching session is delivered ‘live’ to work on the topic of the session you’ve chosen. We will look at the challenges you face and any blocks you might have and find practical solutions that you can implement.
- You’ll also receive an action plan after the session with the suggestions we’ve discussed and any checklists or info sheets that will help you put everything into practice.
- A contract to agree the terms and conditions of the coaching session.
Working together, we will build a relationship where I will understand a bit about you and understand how your business works, and what it needs for marketing purposes.
Each coaching session has a specific theme, so we will stick to the agenda during the coaching session and cover what is included in that specific programme.
We will have an initial discovery call, so that we get to know each other. This can either be by phone or preferably by video call.
After that, we will keep in contact via email, until the actual coaching session. This will include me sending you a questionnaire to complete on a fillable pdf, so that I have the information to research your particular business, and more fully understand what you need from me during the session. The questions will be tailored to the particular session you have requested.
You can email and ask me any questions and I will request your email, so I can do the same if there is anything further I need to understand about your business before the live session.
The actual coaching will be conducted online, via video call – either via Facetime or Facebook video. It can also be conducted via Zoom if you prefer.
I need to point out, from a legal perspective, that I am not a professional or qualified counsellor. Whilst I am happy to talk to you about your business, and coaching is very therapeutic, I am not qualified to give you any personal or mental health advice. I would need to be a licensed medical professional to do that! It’s a legal requirement that I point this out.
Schedule and Fees
Each coaching session has a set fee, be that a one-off session or a series of ongoing weekly or monthly sessions.
I ask for payment for each session to made in advance of the session, so we don’t have to ‘talk money and payment’ within the session.
- If you book a one-off session, we will discuss and book a suitable date when we have the discovery call.
- If you are booking for a series of sessions, we will book the first date when we have the discovery call. Further sessions will be booked at the end of each subsequent session.
Alternatively, you can book all sessions up front for the first three sessions if you prefer.
Cancellation Policy & Procedure
There is always the possibility of unpredictable situations. There may be times when you will need to cancel a coaching session or re-schedule.
I would always prefer that a session is re-scheduled to a later date.
If you cancel and re-schedule a session, within 24 hours of your session, any payment you have already made will automatically be carried over to the re-scheduled session. So, if something unpredictable happens, up to 24 hours before our session, it can all carry to a new date.
If you cancel a session with less than 24 hours’ notice, unless it is for exceptional reasons, the session’s fee is forfeited by yourself. It is totally at my discretion as to whether we can carry the fee over to a future session. I’m not unreasonable and understand that there can be extenuating circumstances!
If I have to cancel any sessions, you have the right to either a refund for that session or a re-scheduled session.
Both client and coach reserve the right to cancel the contract at any time, within the appropriate terms and conditions.
If you have already paid for a session and there are exceptional reasons to cancel a session and you do not want to re-schedule, I will refund, if the session is cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, don’t want to re-schedule, and want a refund, it will depend on circumstances, but will be up to my discretion.
Normally, cancelling with less than 24 hours’ notice will mean you forfeit the payment for that session.
Coaching is a confidential relationship, and I will never discuss our sessions with any third parties, unless you give me express permission to do so in writing, via email.
Following our coaching session or series of sessions, I will ask if you would be happy to provide a recommendation that I can use on my website and/or social media pages. I will ONLY do this if you give me your express permission to do so via email.
Storage of confidential documents
Everything we discuss is confidential. The contract of agreement to the coaching session(s) and the questionnaire you complete, will be saved in secure, password-protected cloud-based storage, in line with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations).
My contracts and pre-course questionnaires are all sent via pdf attachment, that can be completed and returned online.
We will communicate either by email, phone or video call and I prefer not to have any confidential information sent to me on email, unless it is part of the contracts or pre-course questionnaires.
I do not record calls, so anything we discuss will be private and confidential.
